ABOUT THE SCUNTHORPE TOWN TEAM

Town Team

As guardians of the Strategic Development Framework, the aim of the Scunthorpe Town Team is to represent the interests of the beneficiaries of the Scunthorpe Urban Renaissance Programme and to oversee the implementation of the major renaissance projects taking place in the town, including: 

  • Town Centre development  
  • Lincolnshire Lakes  
  • The Pods  

  • Central Park rejuvenation  

We work closely with other organisations including North Lincolnshire Council, Yorkshire Forward and the North Lincolnshire Strategic Partnership to do this. 

We are made up of people just like you who have an interest in improving and driving Scunthorpe forward.  As a group we help to influence the regeneration of Scunthorpe by: 

  • Recommending and helping to prioritise projects  
  • Inputting local knowledge and acting as the main consultative body  
  • Committing to, and supporting the process with time and effort  
  • Injecting “free” energy into the process  
  • Working with partners and stakeholders  
  • Assisting and supporting the implementation of projects  
  • Seeking to attract funding for projects  
  • Recruiting and convincing others

Town Team Officers
